This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information ECOMSY Learning - the training institute of ECOMSY (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED - collects when you enroll in or interact with our courses, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who can see it, and the choices and rights you have over it.

By enrolling with us, contacting us, or using this website, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not submit your information to us. We may update this policy from time to time; when we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify enrolled students.

The short version

We only collect what we need to enroll you, deliver your course, issue your certificate and support you. We never sell your data, and we share it only when it is required to run your enrollment or by law.

Information we collect

We aim to collect the minimum information necessary to provide our training services. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include the categories below.

Identity & contact

Your full name, phone/WhatsApp number and email address, so we can confirm your seat and stay in touch about your course.

Verification documents

Your CNIC or passport, used to verify your identity and to issue a certificate in your correct legal name.

Enrollment & payment proof

Your chosen course and mode (online or on-campus), and the payment screenshot you upload as proof of your bank transfer.

Learning activity

Your Student ID, batch, attendance, assignment submissions and course progress, so mentors can support you and issue your certificate.

Website & device data

Basic technical data your browser sends automatically - such as approximate device and browser type - used to keep the site working and secure.

Some information is provided directly by you (when you fill in the enrollment form or message us), and some is collected automatically as you browse - for example standard server logs and limited technical details that help us keep the website reliable and protected against abuse. We do not use this technical data to identify you personally beyond what is necessary for security and basic analytics.

We do not ask you to share your full bank login, card PINs or one-time passwords, and you should never send those to us or to anyone claiming to represent us. Payment is made by bank transfer to our published account; we only need the proof of that transfer, not your banking credentials.

Every piece of information we collect is tied to a clear purpose connected with delivering your training. We use your information to:

Verify your payment and confirm your enrollment
Assign your Student ID and place you in the right batch
Deliver your classes, materials and mentor support
Issue and verify your certificate of completion
Contact you about schedules, changes and important updates
Improve our courses, and meet our legal and accounting obligations

We do not use your information for unrelated advertising, and we do not build hidden profiles about you. If we ever want to use your story or results in our marketing, we will ask for your explicit permission first.

How we protect your information

How we store & protect it

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. Our website is served over encrypted HTTPS connections, our forms are protected against automated abuse, and access to enrollment records is restricted to authorized ECOMSY staff who need it to do their job.

We retain your information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or for as long as we are required to keep it for legal, tax and accounting reasons. Certificate records may be kept longer so that your certificate remains verifiable in the future. When information is no longer needed and we are not required to keep it, we delete or anonymize it.

No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. However, we work to protect your data and to limit the amount we hold in the first place.

Sharing & third parties

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Your information is used by ECOMSY (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED to administer your enrollment and deliver your course. We only share information in a limited set of circumstances:

Service providers that help us operate - for example our hosting provider or messaging tools - strictly to perform services for us, and only with the information they need.
Legal and regulatory requirements, where disclosure is required by applicable law, court order, or a valid request from a government authority.
Protecting rights and safety, where it is necessary to investigate fraud, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property or safety of our students, staff or the public.

Where we use third-party tools, we choose reputable providers and share only what is necessary. We do not authorize any of them to use your information for their own marketing.

Your rights & choices

You remain in control of your information. Subject to applicable law and our legitimate record-keeping obligations, you can:

Access

Ask us what information we hold about you and request a copy of it.

Correction

Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date - for example a misspelled certificate name.

Deletion

Ask us to delete records we are not legally or contractually required to keep.

Opt-out

Ask us to stop sending non-essential messages at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, to protect your information from someone impersonating you. Note that some records - such as those needed for certificate verification, tax or accounting - may need to be retained even after a deletion request, to the extent the law allows or requires.

This website is intended for adults and for prospective and current students. We do not knowingly collect information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a minor has provided us information without consent, please contact us so we can address it.

Cookies & analytics. Our website may use a small number of cookies or similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the site secure, and understand in aggregate how pages are used so we can improve them. These are not used to build advertising profiles about you. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings; doing so may affect how some parts of the site work.

Changes to this policy. As our courses and tools evolve, we may update this Privacy Policy. The version that applies is the one published here, with the “Last updated” date at the top.
